A new bar has opened its doors in Peckham, Skylarking. This new joint, brought to you by the same team behind The Hawk’s Nest in Shepherds Bush, is a cool but casual neighbourhood bar that could be your new go-to spot in Peckham.
Skylarking is tucked away in the railway arches just down the road from Peckham Rye Station and serves up a delicious and extensive cocktail menu.
Some of the tipples on offer are their infamous Pink Grapefruit Margarita and their refreshing Passion Fruit Mezcalita. Their cocktails are even better enjoyed during the bar’s happy hour which offers two cocktails for £12 and runs from 4pm-7pm for Monday all the way to Friday.
There is also a tasty food menu to expect too, as they offer a range of lite bites, homemade woodfire pizzas and sides. The tomato and mozzarella arancini and the roasted aubergine and kale sourdough pizzas are particular standouts, and should go down a treat with Skylarking’s cocktails.
To top it all off, Skylarking hosts weekly events such as their ‘Live Wednesdays’ where the bar showcases a variety of local talent for all the cosy live music vibes. Fridays and Saturdays at Skylarking is the place to be to dance the night away as local DJs play vinyl until midnight. The bar is open throughout the whole week and on weekdays opens from 4pm.
With food, drinks and entertainment almost every night – Skylarking has it all.
