The Sky Bar will be big enough to entertain over a thousand guests high above Piccadilly Circus.

A giant bar and restaurant is set to open atop London’s Trocadero building soon. In fact, it’s said to become one of Europe’s biggest rooftop bars and restaurants, with space to accommodate over 1000 guests. Brought to us by the US-based TAO Group, The Sky Bar will sit atop the Zedwell Piccadilly hotel and will be open to hotel guests and regular visitors alike.

The Sky Bar promises plenty of canopy covered seating areas, making it an ideal rooftop hangout throughout the seasons. Details on the bar and restaurant are pretty sparse so far, but it is “designed for sipping cocktails and satisfying appetites of all sizes” — so coupled with the grand 360-degree skyline view we know to expect from the rooftop, it’s bound to be great.

The Sky bar will open atop the London Trocadero on Great Windmill Street, Piccadilly Circus, but an exact opening date has not been confirmed. Stay up to date on the development here.

While we wait for this giant to open, why don’t you check out this Spitalfields oasis that’s been voted ‘Europe’s Best Rooftop Bar’?
