Start spreading the news. A musical based on the life, career, and staggeringly revered hits of Frank Sinatra is landing at the West End later this year.
Hitting the stage in the summer, Sinatra: The Musical will begin its London premiere at the Aldwych Theatre, weaving the performances of his music into the tale of his meteoric rise to superstardom in the 1940s and beyond.

Sinatra: The Musical
Booking from June 3, 2026, up to April 10, 2027, the long-term showing of Sinatra The Musical follows a successful sell-out run at The Birmingham Rep in 2023. The musical is written by Tony Award-winning writer Joe DiPietro (who also penned Memphis The Musical and What’s New Pussycat), who was approached by Tina Sinatra, Frank’s daughter, to create an intimate look into the life of the legendary singer.
In large part, of course, this celebrates the music of Frank Sinatra, with songs including That’s Life, Come Fly With Me, and The Best Is Yet To Come included in the roster of more than 20 timeless tracks. But the tale itself begins on New Year’s Eve 1942 as Frank Sinatra prepares to perform at New York City’s Paramount Theatre at the age of 27. Following this, you’ll see him become America’s most popular singer, struggle with family life and stardom, become a target for the press, and launch an incredible comeback story.

Speaking on the production, Tina Sinatra said: “My dad used to always say, “If I can’t feel it, I can’t sing it.” As a result, he wasn’t just singing songs, he was recording an emotional diary of his life.
“And it’s these classic songs that form the heart of “Sinatra The Musical.” Set against the backdrop of my father’s meteoric rise, the show reveals a more intimate portrait of the man than any interview or headline ever could. And just like my dad, it’s full of music and passion and humour. I am so proud to share his story — our story — at long last.”
