Unleash your inner film buff at Boxpark Film Club, in both Shoreditch and Wembley.
Boxparks Shoreditch and Wembley are each hosting a film club throughout August and September, and it’s not one you’ll want to miss! They’ll each be showing three films a week and the lineup does not disappoint. Each week will have a theme – ranging from musicals to world cinema, and everything in between – and with screenings every Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday evening, you can easily get a front row seat.
For as little as £3, you can grab yourself a ticket to watch classics on the big screen – and your ticket will not only guarantee you entry, but also includes a free drink upon arrival. If that doesn’t entice you enough, throughout August all Boxpark venues will be participating in the government’s Eat Out To Help Out scheme. So on Mondays to Wednesdays, you will also be able to get your hands on discounted meals from Boxpark’s street food vendors.
The Boxpark Film Club kicks off from Monday, August 17, beginning with musical week at Boxpark Shoreditch. They will be showing a trio of crowd favourites: Rocketman, La La Land and A Star is Born, all starting at 6pm. Meanwhile, up at Boxpark Wembley, it’s time for Pride week, with LGBTQ+ classics including Pride, Call Me By Your Name and Tangerine on the roster. Their film club will start a little later at 7pm and finish by 9pm.
Other genres you can look forward in the upcoming weeks are Black Excellence, Romance, Classics, and World Cinema. All movies will be screened at Beatbox at Boxpark Shoreditch, and in the immersive GlowBox room on the first floor of Boxpark Wembley. Check their website for more information, and don’t forget you can use Boxpark’s black card beforehand for entry to either venue and for discounts from selected vendors.
