Shochu Lounge’s highly ‘grammable cherry blossoms are blooming marvellous – and so is their Sunday brunch.
Spring may have disappeared, taking the gorgeous cherry blossom with it, but it’s always springtime at the Shochu Lounge! Sitting in the basement of one of London’s best Japanese restaurants, ROKA, they’ve supplemented the beautiful blooms with a superb bottomless brunch menu, taking bookings for Sundays.
You’ll get a mountain of food, including sashimi, soft shell crab, salmon tartare—and that’s just to name a few! You can also pick something from the robata kitchen, such as baby back ribs with sansho & cashew nuts, beef fillet with chilli, ginger & spring onion, and sea bream with ryotei miso & red onion. And just as you think it’s all over, you’ll also be served a tasty ROKA dessert platter for the table! (Drool at the full menu here.)
If brunching in a beautiful, Japanese-inspired setting wasn’t enough, guests will also be treated to free-flowing cocktails, wine or prosecco (or Champagne if you’re feeling boujee and have a few extra bucks to spare). Try the Shochu on the Beach with shochu, pineapple, cranberry, passionfruit & lime, or the Wasabi Mary with namida wasabi vodka, tomato, Japanese spice mix & lemon.
Shochu’s Sunday Brunch is served from 12:30–3pm. Tickets cost £60 per person or £80 for the proper fancy version.
