A Service of prayer and reflection on the death of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II will be held at St. Paul’s Cathedral today (Friday 9th September 2022).
The service begins at 6pm and 2,000 available seats will be allocated to the public on a first come first served basis. Those wishing to attend the service must visit in person to the City of London tourism office, Carter Lane, EC4M 8BX to collect a wristband from 11am. The wristbands must be collected in person – one wristband per person. Note that there will be no admittance to St. Paul’s Cathedral without a wristband.
The doors to St. Paul’s Cathedral will open at 4 pm and all attendees must be seated by 5pm. Security checks will be in place, so it’s advised that you don’t bring a bag unless you really need one. The Order of Service will be available on the St. Paul’s Cathedral website shortly before the service will be broadcast live on BBC 1.
