The infamous Breakfast Club is bringing us Saint Elmo’s Late Night Sandwich Bar next month!
Having mastered the breakfast scene, The Breakfast Club are now venturing into the late night market! Saint Elmo’s Late Night Sandwich Bar will be opening in Soho this September. They haven’t released an official opening date just yet, but stay tuned as it will be early next month. [Featured image: @saint.elmos]
You will be able to find Saint Elmo’s at The Breakfast Club’s Berwick Street cafe, every day from 5pm till close. It will be bringing customers an exclusive new menu, serving mouthwatering sandwiches and an array of sides – in other words, the perfect late night venue for a hearty meal and a good time.
While many businesses have suffered due to the pandemic, The Breakfast Club are going from strength to strength. The late night sandwich shop is already garnering a lot of buzz and if it follows in The Breakfast Club’s footsteps, it’ll be a crowd favourite in no time.
As for the name of the venue, die-hard fans of ’80s coming-of-age films will get the reference. But for the rest of us, one of the founders explained that “the unofficial film sequel to The Breakfast Club has become our official food sequel”.
With some of the most creative flavour combinations on offer, their menu will leave even the most decisive among us spoilt for choice. The Chicken Kiev, Sloppy Joanna, and Porky’s Revenge are mouthwatering guilty pleasures, leaving no room for disappointment. However, The Saint Elmo’s Fire is already predicted to be a crowd favourite. It has over ten carefully selected ingredients and is described as ‘your local kebab in a sandwich’. I’ll take two please…
For all the vegetarians out there, the Daddy MacHaggis is the one for you – it includes triple cheese macaroni, roasted veggie haggis, spinach, red onions and chip shop sauce. And the Delhi Deli is the perfect vegan option!
While Saint Elmo’s isn’t opening just yet, if you’re lucky enough to live in Battersea, Canary Wharf, Hoxton, Hackney, London Bridge or Spitalfields, you can order their sandwiches now from Deliveroo. However, if you’re not based in those areas, never fear: it won’t be much longer until you can enjoy a delicious sandwich at the new Soho venue.
Saint Elmo’s will open at 11 Berwick Street, Soho, W1F 0PL this September. For more info and the official opening date, check their website.
