Catch England’s voyage to victory at these epic Clapham Grand screenings.
If you prefer your sporting drama in dramatic surroundings, try this place on for size.
This classic Victorian music hall first opened in 1900, hosting dancing ponies and banjo-juggling acrobats on its opening night. Since then, it’s been a theatre, cinema, and bingo hall, before becoming the all-purpose, all-awesomeness venue it is today.
Now they’re showing some of the biggest games of the Rugby World Cup, including selected group games and every single knockout game of the tournament. And of course all of England’s sure-to-be-glorious campaign! The action will be played on a massive 24-foot screen, with an additional eight plasma screens to make sure you don’t miss a thing.
Since Japan are hosting the games, the fixtures fall at fairly unsociable times. But when has that ever stopped us before? Your ticket includes a drink, so start as you mean to go on with a cheeky beer at 9am.
The screenings kick off with South Africa vs New Zealand on September 21, then continue with England vs Argentina (October 5), and England vs France (October 12).
Best of all: admission, including a free drink*, is just £4! Get your tickets here!
*includes cans of beer, a small glass of house wine, single spirit and mixer, or a soft drink.
