If London is where culture meets the future, then REMIX Summit is where those conversations begin. As one of the world’s most influential creative capitals, London has long been a testing ground for new ideas in art, technology, and entrepreneurship. And from 29–30 January, it’s back for its fourteenth year where cultural leaders explore what’s next for the creative industries.
It unfolds across two iconic venues: The National Gallery, a global symbol of artistic heritage and Here East at the Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park, one of the UK’s leading innovation and technology hubs. Together, they perfectly reflect the summit’s mission to bridge culture, technology, and future-facing thinking.

What can you expect from the Summit?
Expect two fast-paced, idea-packed days filled with inspirational talks, practical insights, and high-level networking with the people shaping the future of culture worldwide.
For those who haven’t been, REMIX is known for its concise, high-impact sessions that cut through the noise. It’s all designed to give you takeaways and connections you can immediately act on.
The focus for this year’s summit is “The Power of Possibility”, with sessions exploring how creative leaders can unlock new opportunities in uncertain times. Themes include:
- 2026 trends: As society becomes more fragmented, how do we connect?
- Immersive storyworlds: Although “immersive experiences” have become a buzzword, a lot of these can fall flat. This session covers how to create a genuine impact through this art form.
- Human-centred art/tech: How to navigate a new creative frontier in the age of AI.
- Rewiring culture: How to do more with less, being more sustainable and impactful.
- Creative placemakers: Exploring the creative possibilities that empower communities and strengthen local pride.
- Delivery is all: How do we navigate the many hurdles: bureaucracy, cynicism, isolation and gatekeeping?
- Purpose-led: Exploring purpose as a catalyst for possibility and for solving complex challenges.
- Left-field thinking: The most promising possibilities often come from the most unpredictable places, and REMIX offers the space for this.
You’ll also be able to hear from 75+ leading creative pioneers, including: Dr Gus Casely-Hayford, the Director of V&A East, Annie Polland, President of Tenement Museum (NYC) and Nazir Afzal OBE, Chancellor of the University of Manchester and former Chief Crown Prosecutor of NW England. As well as names from some of the world’s largest creative organisations, from Google Arts & Culture and Snapchat AR Studio to the Eurovision Song Contest.
The day will include short main stage talks followed by more intimate discussions, which will allow you to dive deeper with ‘Follow the Speaker’ sessions. From 6th February, the conversations will also be available online.
