Fashion-fanatics, gather round. A royally ravishing exhibition dedicated to the remarkable style of Queen Elizabeth II has officially landed in London. Where, I hear you ask? Buckingham Palace, of course.
Marking the year in which Britain’s longest-reigning monarch would have turned 100 years old, Queen Elizabeth II: Her Life in Style showcases and celebrates the late, great queen’s distinctive style and long-lasting fashion legacy. And due to incredible popularity, the exhibition was recently extended into 2027 – allowing even more people to visit.
Queen Elizabeth II: Her Life in Style
The exhibition features around 200 incredible items, many of which are on display for the very first time. It’s the biggest and most comprehensive exhibition of Queen Elizabeth II’s fashion to have ever taken place. And it spans all ten decades of her life; from childhood to adulthood, and from princess to queen.

Londoners (and beyond) can get up close and personal with the likes of clothing, jewellery, and accessories. But some of the most exciting items on display come in the form of never-before-seen sketches, samples, and handwritten correspondence. These detail the behind-the-scenes process of dressing the world’s most famous woman for some of the most momentous occasions. These previously hidden gems shed new light on Queen Elizabeth II’s participation in the creation of her wardrobe.
Among the 200 dazzling pieces on display are her wedding dress, her coronation dress, and the outfit she wore at Princess Margaret’s wedding. It all sounds pretty darn exciting to me.
