Pret A Manger will open 101 stores for business across the UK next week.
30 stores had previously opened, but the sandwich and coffee chain has announced a further 71 shops will resume service.
From May 11, 55 Pret a Manger locations will open in London, with further stores opening across Birmingham, Manchester, Edinburgh and more. Due to lockdown measures, however, they will still be operating for delivery and takeaway orders only.
You’ll also be able to order your favourite sandwiches from Pret a Manger via JustEat, Deliveroo and UberEats — depending on your local store.
Pret said that by reopening stores they are “helping more people get access to freshly made food”.
Workers are, of course, instructed to adhere to strict social distancing and safety guidelines. These include perspex screens at tills, enhanced cleaning and a contactless payment-only rule. They will also provide hand-sanitiser for customers and face-masks for workers who prefer to wear them.
