It’s pretty bizarre to think that a world record for the largest gathering of bald cap-donning festivalgoers could be broken at a Pitbull concert in London this summer. If nothing else, it yet again exemplifies the special relationship between the capital and Mr Worldwide, with the crowds at his shows around here turning up in ever-growing numbers.
If you’re killing time between the next chance to whack on the bald cap, then you should turn your attention to what is claiming to be London’s first-ever Pitbull lookalike competition, which is set to take place this weekend. Sure – we can’t all win that £1,000 bar tab up for grabs, but we might just have the Time Of Our Lives.

Set to coincide nicely with the Miami Grand Prix weekend, a ‘Mr 305’ event at F1® Arcade in St Paul’s is out to find the spitting image of Pitbull, so this is your warning to pick out your best shades before this Saturday, May 2.
They couldn’t start this at any other time than 3:05pm, could they? It’ll get going in the afternoon, with all hopefuls just having to simply turn up and look as much like Pitbull as possible.

As well as the Pitbull-themed competition and subsequent F1 party, revellers will also notice the venue has been given something of a 305 makeover, with palm trees scattered around to emulate South Beach on the weekend of the Miami Grand Prix.
Plus, those who head over to F1® Arcade over the bank holiday weekend in London, be it dressed as Mr Worldwide or not, can also claim a free cocktail at the venue by taking a photo at the space and tagging @f1arcade. Free drinks, bald caps everywhere you look, and the backdrop of a beach on the Florida coast… it’s certain to say It’s going down (and I’m yelling timber) at the F1® Arcade.
Take part in London’s first Pitbull lookalike competition at F1® Arcade this Saturday, May 2 at 3:05pm, with the attendee judged to look most like Mr Worldwide winning a bar tab of £1,000 bar tab at the venue. Pitbull plays Hyde Park BST this summer on July 10.
