Paddington’s Giant Street Food Pergola For Sunny Afternoons

Pergola Paddington

Summer hotspot Pergola Paddington is back for the 2018 season.

The rooftop bar and food market will offer sustenance and sunshine for up to 850 thirsty locals in the west London neighbourhood, after a popular debut last year. Open from Wednesday to Sunday each week, food will be laid on by Patty & Bun’s burger boys, DF Mexico, the duck-shreddin’ Canard and MAM’s mighty Vietnamese barbecue.

Aside from ample seating, there are seven highly sought-after rooftop ‘day beds’, where Paddington peeps can catch some rays on a sunny afternoon. Any time we can be simultaneously out-on-the-town and lying in bed is a huge win, as far as we’re concerned.

While there’s obviously plenty of room for walkups, groups of up to 199 people (!) can reserve some space free of charge, and the team are currently offering free beers for anyone that books ahead of their visit. Alternatively, you can visit this page to claim a free frozen margarita on your arrival!

And while we’re sure the British summer will be totally co-operative, you’ll be glad to know the venue is set over two floors and parts of it are covered, in the event of ‘weather.’ Ah, weather.

Location: 5 Kingdom Street, W2 6PY. Nearest station: Paddington. See it on Google Maps.
Opening hours: open Wednesday-Sunday, generally midday-11pm; closes briefly Wednesday afternoons (3.30 – 6pm) and shuts slightly earlier on Sundays (10.30pm)
