Anyone into dance music will know the name Peggy Gou. The world-renowned DJ has been around for over a decade, playing her first-ever gig in Soho in 2013, but will now take on her biggest in London to date with a giant show this summer.
Playing at Gunnersbury Park on August 17, Peggy Gou will be joined by a full lineup of acts throughout the day in front of a crowd size that hits the sweet spot between an arena and a stadium-sized show, as well as, very importantly, taking place in the great outdoors.
Though the South Korean-born DJ began making her name in the city by playing weekly shows at The Book Club in east London, the journey over to the west can be let slide as it gives us ample opportunity for a dance in the sun at a giant park (before it turns into a Starry Night). It’s also cause to bring a huge lineup along for the ride. Supporting Peggy Gou at Gunnersbury Park are Brazilian tech house DJ Mochakk; LDSXOXO; Sally C; and duo Hiver.
Peggy Gou is the latest name to be announced for the series of shows at Gunnersbury Park this summer. PJ Harvey takes to the stage one day later (August 18), with FISHER (August 9), Tom Grennan (August 10) and KoRn (August 11) set to play the week before. Last summer saw a string of successful shows, including the first UK performance by boygenius, a typically boisterous Limp Bizkit gig, and more.
Peggy Gou plays Gunnersbury Park, Popes Lane, W3 8LQ (nearest station is Acton Town) on August 17. Tickets go on sale on February 23 at 10am UK time, and you’ll find them here. More shows at Gunnersbury park are due to be announced for the summer, so keep an eye out on our page for further updates!
