A paradox is defined as something absurd or contradictory; that’s exactly what the Paradox Museum will showcase in its rooms in London. Coming to Knightsbridge this July, the mind-bending immersive experience seeks to educate, delight, and play with your perception, using optical illusions and weird but wonderful installations.
The museum has already wowed visitors in Paris, Miami, and Shanghai, to name just a few locations, and boasts 1.5 million yearly visitors worldwide, so we’re pretty excited to see it land in the capital.
What exhibits can you expect at London’s Paradox Museum?
Paradox Museum offers over 50 different installations, though these vary from venue to venue, so we’ll need to wait until it opens in London to see what gems it holds. We’ve heard rumours of a Zero Gravity Room, an Upside-Down Room, and a Camouflage exhibit. Instagram fiends will be pleased to know Paradox previously hosted an Infinity Room, perfect for selfies galore; while Potterheads will be spellbound at the sound of a Harry Potter-inspired room.
Regardless of what rooms make it over to London – and what new ones appear – Paradox Museum promises to be jam-packed with unique optical illusions suitable for all ages. Some rooms will be geared more towards kids and teenagers, while others towards adults. If you have a keen interest in the science behind the illusions, you’ll be catered for too.
