Just when you thought London had it all; up pops an experience that’s about as close to starring in a wildlife documentary as we mere mortals could possibly get. Today (January 30), an Emmy-nominated, three-part immersive VR journey has arrived at OTHERWORLD, and if you listen carefully enough; you might just hear the silky smooth voice of David Attenborough winding its way around the capital city as visitors are plunged into the (virtual) adventure of a lifetime.
David Attenborough Immersive Anthology will give Londoners the unique opportunity to join David Attenborough in remarkable 8K virtual reality, and embark on a fascinating journey through the secret worlds of plants, insects and birds.
Giving visitors the chance to step straight in to three of his former Sky TV shows (Kingdom Of Plants, Micro Monsters and Conquest of the Skies), David Attenborough Immersive Anthology uses the latest in 3D camera technology, cinematography techniques, and impressive tactile base technology to showcase the sights and sounds of our planet’s most bizarre, brilliant and breathtaking creatures on an unparalleled scale.
Inside their very own futuristic VR Immersion Pod, visitors will be guided by the velvety vocals of British broadcasting legend, David Attenborough, as they encounter carnivorous flytraps, majestic butterflies and towering pterosaurs (just to name a few). This unforgettable experience will leave its guest with newfound wonder and perspective on the planet we inhabit.
The experience lasts 70 minutes and tickets cost £35. Find out more and plan your visit here.
