Earlier this year, hot off the back of a completely sold-out run at the West End’s London Palladium, the smash hit ‘Off Menu’ podcast announced a mini residency at London’s stunning Royal Albert Hall. The hugely popular podcast revealed they would be taking over the iconic London venue in March of 2026 with three special live performances. Thanks to huge demand, the podcasting duo then added two new shows to the line-up. But we Londoners still wanted more. And our wish is their command, it seems. That’s right, a final extra date has been added to the sold-out run, with tickets going on sale this week.
‘Off Menu’ is hosted by internationally-acclaimed comedians James Acaster and Ed Gamble. You’ll recognise them from their sell-out headline stand-up comedy shows and from iconic performances on the likes of ‘Taskmaster’, ‘Mock the Week’, and more. Before hitting the London Palladium earlier this year, the podcast had previously gone live with a completely sold-out UK & Ireland tour in 2023.
The podcast sees them inviting special guests (ranging from A-list actors and Hollywood legends to cult comedians and national treasures) to discuss their dream restaurant. But naturally, given the comic talent involved, it’s not quite as simple as that. The hosting duo take on the roles of a genie waiter and maître d’ as guests order their “favourite ever starter, main course, dessert, side dish and drink (not in that order)”.
Past guests have ranged from the likes of Robert De Niro, Florence Pugh, and Paul Rudd, to national treasures such as Kathy Burke, Sir Lenny Henry, and Bob Mortimer.
‘Off Menu’ at the Royal Albert Hall
James and Ed will now take to the stage for six performances of the podcast at the Royal Albert Hall next year. And this will mark the venue’s biggest-ever podcast run. The shows will take place on:
- Friday, March 13, 2026 – 7:30pm
- Saturday, March 14, 2026 – 2pm
- Saturday, March 14, 2026 – 7:30pm
- Sunday, March 15, 2026 – 2pm
- Sunday, March 15, 2026 – 7:30pm
- Monday, March 16, 2026 – 7.30pm (new date)

The live show differs slightly from the podcast. ‘Off Menu Live: The Tasting Menus’ see fan favourites from previous podcast episodes invited back to be served a surprise set of dream dishes. With a different returning guest at each show, the Dream Restaurant will open for service once more – but this time, guests don’t know what they’re eating.
Ed Gamble said: “I’m really excited about doing the Royal Albert Hall again but Benito is worried people won’t come to this one so I have to say something that makes people come.”
James Acaster said: “If you don’t come, we will cry.”
So, what’ll it be? Still or sparkling? Oh, and the big question, of course: bread or poppadom?
