Wistful wisteria wine sessions await at the Nyetimber Secret Garden.
If you’re planning on popping bottles this summer – and let’s face it, who isn’t? – we’ve found a particularly charming spot in which to do it. Arriving at Rosewood London on May 31st, the Nyetimber Secret Garden is elegantly draped with wisteria, and handily comes equipped with a range of English sparkling wines, as all good gardens really should.

With wisteria hysteria primed to take over the capital any week now, this is rather timely news, and the wine certainly doesn’t hurt either. A charming summer terrace is located in the Rosewood’s Edwardian courtyard, decorated with bright flowers, serene lighting, and vintage garden tools to evoke the bucolic idyll of the Nyetimber estate. You’ll find the Secret Garden by following flower-adorned pathways to a wrought iron gate, just waiting to reveal the intrigue within. How magical!

At the end of your journey, you can sip on bubbles from Nyetimber’s sparkling wine range, including Classic Cuvée, Rosé, and Nyetimber ‘Demi-Sec’, along with a selection of other wines and cocktails. Meanwhile, Calum Franklin – head chef of pie and gin-loving Holborn Dining Room – is running the food, with a distinct English influence resulting in the likes of gin-cured salmon, chicken and tarragon pie, and sticky toffee pudding. Wisteria, wine, and a cracking food menu – essentially, it’s the English country garden of our dreams.
