There’s going to be a massive party in Tottenham in honour of Keith Flint.
This week, we lost a legend. Keith Flint, former frontman of dance act The Prodigy, took his own life after a battle with depression.
Tottenham venue The Cause is throwing a party in his honour, inviting artists and DJs who were inspired by The Prodigy, and/or shared lineups with the band. The party’s lineup includes the likes of Slipmatt and Nookie, but there will of course be plenty of Prodigy classics and lots of Funky Shit.
Male suicide is the single biggest killer of men under 45 in the UK, and The Cause is all about raising awareness of this. With this is mind, they’re donating 100% of profits—from both ticket sales and bar revenue—to two mental health charities. 50% will go to Mind in Haringey and 50% will go to CALM.
The party is taking place on March 16. Tickets for the evening have all sold out but there are rumours of a day party 👀. Follow the Facebook event to keep up to date with ticket releases and donate to the cause.
