Nine Lives Bar has spilled out onto the street, serving tasty tacos and summer cocktails.
Summer is upon us, and what better way to enjoy it than tacos and cocktails out in the sun? Nine Lives Alley, sat amongst the hearty cobbles of Holyrood Street, is here to bring Londoners just that.
Tacos hail from ‘El Tigre’, a chef with legend status in Mexico, who’s Tigre taco truck is parking up in (sometimes) sunny London. And, they couldn’t have asked for a better location! It sits in an unassuming side-street with views of the Shard, between London Bridge station and bustling Bermondsey Street. It will remain in this spot for the rest of 2020.
Sustainable fish tacos are on offer, and they promise mouthfuls of heaven. Customers can grab Baja-style fish and grilled shrimp tacos and octopus tostadas, topped off with freshly made salsa and crispy pickles.
Cocktailsgi ve the menu a lively sheen, with summer spritzes, frozen slushies, along with highballs, beer and cider keeping up the merry Mexican spirit.
Social-distancing and hygiene measures will of course be adhered to, in line with government advice. Staff and guests will be required to wear face masks and sanitise their hands upon arrival, and menu’s will be available directly on your phones via QR code. Nine Lives Alley will also only accept contactless payment.
So, for a summer pop-up filled with Mexican eats and plenty of cocktails, this central London spot guarantees a good time.
