New Year’s Eve heads back to the 90s at this fab night market.
They say you should start the New Year as you mean to continue – so I suggest you start it surrounded by delicious street food, questionable fashion choices, and 90s pop bangers. All that can be found at this NYE Night Market Party, where you’re invited to welcome in 2020 with an epic throwback to the 90s. Read on for more, or grab your tickets here.
It all takes place in Market Hall Victoria, which boasts no fewer than ten top-notch street food outlets. From the magical melting curries of Gopal’s Corner, to the smashing salt beef sandwiches of Monty’s Deli, you’ll be starting the year with a bellyful of mouthwatering food. It’s the perfect fuel for an evening of dancing, drinking, and party games, and you’re going to need it when the bingo kicks off, trust us.
A live band will be in residence, taking requests and fuelling your lust for the very best 90s hits, whether that be the Spice Girls or Blur. Since the market used to be the home of Ibiza offshoot Pacha, it’s no surprise that the night will also feature White Isle-inspired dance and pop classics, which will keep the tempo high in the run up to midnight.
Whether you’re looking to celebrate the midnight moment by throwing out shapes on the dancefloor, or taking in views of the city from the rooftop bar, you’re sure of a great night out at the NYE Night Market Party. Partying like its 1999, with no threat of Y2K? Truly, it’s the best of both worlds!
