Get ready to add a new spot to your never-ending London eats list, because Crisp Pizza has just opened in a new venue in the heart of Mayfair. This cult-favourite, which had Londoners heading west to Hammersmith, has just opened a brand-new central location, and it’s an absolute stunner.
A proper pub upstairs, pizza speakeasy downstairs

Crisp Pizza became a massive hit for a reason. Carl started it all in his nan’s pub, The Chancellor in Hammersmith, and it quickly gained huge popularity with Londoners. Now, he’s teamed up with the folks behind the much-loved The Devonshire pub for this new venture at The Marlborough.
The new spot is absolutely gorgeous and just a stone’s throw from Oxford Street. It’s split into two perfect parts. Upstairs, you’ve got a traditionally styled boozer —the perfect place to grab a pint. And speaking of pints, The Marlborough will also serve Guinness“, a great combo with the pizza.
But the real “game changer,” as owner Carl calls it, is the downstairs. This is the dedicated restaurant space, something they didn’t have in Hammersmith. They’ve created a cosy speakeasy spot with dim lighting, red booths, and exposed brick, inspired by New York restaurants.

Signature pizzas
They’re serving the same incredible lineup of New York-style pizzas with those famously crispy bases. You’ll find all the favourites, from the Signature Crisp to the Tie-Dye.
But let’s be honest, the “famous Vecna pizza” is what everyone comes for and the reason they’ve always been so busy. It’s a stunning combination of pepperoni, parmesan, burrata, and hot honey. Our videographer Phoebe, who has been to most pizza joints in London, says that “if there’s one pizza place in London that deserves the hype… I think it’s Crisp”.
