Just past the outskirts of London, in Bushey, Hertfordshire, you’ll find Vincenzo’s. And if you’re in any way a London pizza fan, you’ve either already made the pilgrimage to try the pies or you’re eagerly awaiting a chance to visit. That’s because these pizzas have quickly become some of the most celebrated in the country.
But now it’s easier than ever to try out the signature Vincenzo’s creations. That’s because they’ve (finally) set up shop in the city and opened a second location in East London’s Shoreditch. Run on down to Bethnal Green Road, to get a taste of what you’ve been missing – or to relive your pizza pilgrimage to Bushey, without the travel time.
Diners can expect classics such as a margherita and a tomato pie, alongside some novel new creations for the London site. These include a mouth-watering spanakopita pizza as well as extra toppings like burrata, hot honey, and more. Vincenzo’s has also made the vodka sauce pie a permanent addition to the menu in Shoreditch – a special treat since it’s only occasionally available at the original pizzeria.
Vincenzo’s
The Vincenzo’s story started with a trip to New York, where founder, Tom Vincent, fell in love with not just the pizza itself, but the whole pizza culture surrounding it. He then took a trip to the motherland of pizza, Naples, to get in touch with the roots of the food. Following that, he started slinging his New York-meets-Naples pies from his garden and eventually opened up Vincenzo’s in 2022.

At the Bushey site, you’ll find pizza fanatics chowing down on whole pizzas – which are pre-ordered online ahead of time (and frequently sell out on the weekends). But in London, they’ve transitioned to a more casual by-the-slice business model.
But fret not if you’d rather net yourself an entire pizza. They’re still selling their 16-inch pies, but these are only available for takeaway. Anyway, when you’re ordering by the slice, you can mix and match different slices and toppings to rebuild your own whole pizza!
