There’s nothing quite like the annual return to watching our favourite Christmas films on repeat every December. Whether it’s playing on a loop in the background, or the whole house is settling in together to watch, everyone has their favourite Christmas movie. But one of the very best (in fact THE very best if you ask some of the Secret London team) has to be The Muppet Christmas Carol. That’s why, this December, one London cinema will be screening it every day until December – often multiple times a day!
Soho’s cult Prince Charles Cinema is famous for its screenings of all manner of cult classics and seasonal film celebrations. And this Christmas is no exception. This year, they’ll be screening The Muppet Christmas Carol every day from December 1-24. (Well, almost every day, they’ll be skipping December 4, but we’ll allow them the exception.)
The Christmas classic, which stars Michael Caine as Ebenezer Scrooge alongside a cast of Muppets, is the perfect family-friendly flick to welcome in the season. And the Prince Charles Cinema will even host sing-along screenings for fans to join in on the fun.
Christmas movie marathons
As well as showing The Muppet Christmas Carol every single day until Christmas, the Prince Charles Cinema is hosting plenty of other screenings and events. They’ll be showing everything from Love Actually to The Holdovers, Die Hard (it is a Christmas movie!), It’s A Wonderful Life, and more.
