Multicoloured dumplings

It’s the Year of the Ox and here’s one way you can celebrate at home!

Chinese New Year is just a mere few days away and while we would normally be gearing up to celebrate in the streets of London, we’ve had to be a little creative with our plans this year. Noodle & Beer, a chic Spitalfields restaurant that specialises in Chongqing and Sichuan noodles, has created just the thing to help us enjoy the Lunar New Year from home. These talented chefs have created a bunch of multi-coloured dumplings specifically for the Lunar New Year and we couldn’t be more excited to try them! Dumplings are to Chinese New Year as pigs and blankets are to Christmas – essential. And thanks to Noodle & Beer we can now have the most aesthetically pleasing dumplings delivered straight to our doors!

You’ll be happy to hear that the dumpling fillings are just as exciting as the colourful skins. The wonderful handmade creations come in three different flavours including fresh purple kale, scrambled eggs with fresh prawns, and pork – all of which sound absolutely incredible if you ask me. These bites are available for nationwide delivery from now until the end of next week, so be sure to place an order asap if you want to experience them first hand. And the best part is they’ll only set you back £8.25!

If you fancy a sweet treat afterwards, there’s also plenty of desserts on their Chinese New Year menu. The specials include their ever-popular Chinese red envelope cake with mango and kiwi mousse, the Royal China’s pudding box, and turnip cake with ham for those after something both sweet and savoury. You can order all of the above via Deliveroo here.

In other news, here are 15 restaurant deliveries for you and that special someone this Valentine’s Day.
