Mr Fogg’s Secret Garden is the perfect place to escape the city with a summery cocktail in hand.
Hidden behind a concealed entrance just a few metres from Mr Fogg’s Residence in Mayfair, you can find the summer’s newest Instagrammable pop-up: a gorgeous, secret English Victorian garden serving the prettiest cocktails around.
The secluded space has been transformed into a covered and heated oasis adorned with pergolas wrapped in lush growing vines, and comes just in time for the Spring bank holiday weekend and the sunny weather we’ve all been waiting for!
The secret garden seats up to 100 guests and takes visitors on a journey back in time and to far away places. Upon entering, you’ll discover the country-inspired Tanqueray Orangery covered in blossom and oranges, where guests can sip on Tanqueray Dry Gin and Franklin & Sons Indian tonic.
The tranquil Pimm’s rose walk draped with canopies of white roses invites you to soak up the sun, with jugs of Pimms & Lemonade flowing aplenty.
A quirky Potting Shed bar serves up seasonal garden-themed cocktails, like the ‘Free as a Bird’ made with Don Julio Blanco tequila, Aperol aperitif, fresh grapefruit and lime juice, and agave syrup, topped up with Franklin & Sons pomegranate and hibiscus soda.
Another must-try creation is the ‘Blooming Spritz’ made with Ketel One Botanical Peach & Orange Blossom spirit, sparkling wine, and Franklin & Sons 1886 soda water. Or opt for ‘The Constant Gardener’ made with Tanqueray No. TEN gin, Belsazar Rosé vermouth, pear purée, cloudy apple juice, and fresh lime juice, topped with ginger and lemongrass cordial.
To celebrate summer evenings, guests can also toast with glasses of Moët & Chandon Champagne, wine, hard seltzers, and beers from Shepherd Neame, Britain’s oldest brewer.
Mr Fogg’s Secret Garden is open Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday from 3pm to 11pm, and Friday and Saturday from midday to 11pm. Find more information here. 15 Bruton Lane, Mayfair, W1J 6JD, nearest station is Green Park.
