Here’s How To Get Morrisons Delivered To You Even If Delivery Slots Are Fully Booked

This simple hack could help so many!

As supermarkets are completely emptied by panic buyers and delivery slots are hoarded, it’s been a difficult time to get even the most essential of items. Now, Morrisons has introduced a new way of getting food to their customers, and it’s an absolute lifesaver.

Named the Food Box initiative, the new service is delivered outside of Morrison’s usual delivery service, using DPD to help fulfil more orders than usual and keeping people inside during the UK lockdown. The boxes are filled up with essentials, with vegetarian and meat boxes to choose from, and are designed for those who are unable to leave the house due to the virus.

Each box is £35 and filled up with £30 worth of groceries (the £5 is for the DPD delivery), either meat or vegetarian and are also packed up with other essentials dependant on stock such as pasta and bread. Vegetarians will receive items such as tofu in lieu of meat, and meat-eaters will receive essentials such as beef mince and bacon, again, dependent on store availability. There is currently no gluten-free or dairy-free options, so those with allergies may need to look into it before ordering.

Each person can order two boxes at a time, and you can even get them delivered to your door the very next day if you order before 3pm. Unfortunately, you can’t choose what goes inside the box, however, the service is ideal for those who are currently unable to get out and about during the lockdown and in need of some bits and bobs for the fridge and cupboards.
