The London Hilton on Park Lane is already quite well known for its Disney Princess afternoon teas. But the newest offering sees them narrowing in specifically on the upcoming live-action Moana film for inspiration. (The movie comes out on July 10 – just FYI…)
Moana afternoon tea
The specially themed offering features “tropical petit fours, ocean-themed desserts, Wayfinder Scones and plenty of Park Lane flair“. And it’s equally delightful for young Moana fans as it is for the adults. Afternoon tea-ers can expect a colourful, characterful and beautifully presented meal, with themed details running through the food and setting.
Now, about that food… The afternoon tea’s desserts and sweet treats draw from tropical flavours to tie in to the theme. We’re talking passionfruit, matcha, hibiscus, pineapple, and more.
Among the highlights are:
- Heart of Te Fiti – matcha biscuit, cream cheese, white chocolate
- Taste of the Sea – passionfruit curd, pineapple compote, lime zest
- Island Flowers – vanilla mousse, strawberry, and hibiscus compote
- The Wayfinder Scones – with classic accompaniments.
But that’s just the sweet stuff. For the savoury treats, they’ve turned to other Disney films for inspiration. Guests can enjoy sandwiches with fillings inspired by the likes of The Princess and the Frog, Cinderella, and more.
