The topic of the London Underground will never fail to get a Londoner talking. It’s a subject that we’re all extremely passionate about, you see. Some say it’s the best transport system in the world; others certainly don’t – but nonetheless, we’ve all got our two cents to put in about it. And if we weren’t already certain about that, we definitely are now.
We asked across our social media platforms which tube stations our followers would most like to add to the London Underground network – and you lovely lot didn’t disappoint. From Zara to Lake Como; some of your responses had the Secret London team in stitches – don’t ask, don’t get, I suppose?
Sprinkled in between the rather chaotic responses (Cardiff for a laugh, being a particular favourite of mine), were actually some pretty good suggestions. So, without further ado…

So there you have it; the list of tube stations that our readers and followers wished existed. Through my (extremely thorough and extensive) research, it seems that the majority of Londoners want just four things from our beloved rail network. A line that directly connects south-west and south-east, a tube station at Clapham Junction, tube connections to all ‘London’ airports, and, of course, a rave-line that goes directly to Drumsheds. That doesn’t seem too much to ask, does it?
Any other stations you’d add to the list? Be sure to let us know!
