We’ll take all the pasta, please!
When it comes down to it, there’s few things in life that provide as much pleasure as a stand-up feast of authentic Italian cuisine. So, on that motif, it’s a bit bloody brilliant that a cult pasta sensation hailing from Milan is arriving in London, isn’t it?
Miscusi have enjoyed a rapid growth in their motherland, now boasting 12 restaurants across seven Italian cities since their 2017 inception. Now, their first restaurant abroad is arriving in London this November.
At the new spot, you’ll be able to munch down on some divine dishes, with fresh pasta, that’s topped off with perfectly balanced ingredients (worked on by a nutritionist). You’ll be able to choose from selected Miscusi dishes or even personalise your own plate.
Setting up shop at The Yards in Covet Garden, Miscusi will bring its sustainable mission to the capital, along with their cracking Mediterranean palate (which we all know is among the most healthy in the world). Think simple, quality ingredients that carries out the famed diet, which also just happens to be most sustainable in the world.
The brand keeps true to its mission by running a regenerative agriculture project just outside of Milan, to help understand and reverse the effects of climate change through biodiversity.
Alberto Cartasegna, who is part of “Forbes Under-30”, created the Italian restaurant brand aged just 26, having been inspired by Italian cuisine and a mission to sustainably feed the world.

He said: “Pasta is happiness, it’s something you can share with your friends, family, and co-workers. It’s for everyone, no matter your age or background. It deserved an Italian brand.
“Miscusi’s purpose is to make people happy, however ensuring we are contributing to the efforts of feeding an expected global population of nearly 10 billion over the next three decades, while not compromising the future of our planet, is something that remains front of mind for our business.
“We do believe a strong answer lives in Mediterranean lifestyle roots of which Pasta is a solid pillar and a great opportunity to regenerate our land, nurture our spirit and imagine a better future.”
Expect diverse flavours in classic dishes with a special twist, which combine vegetables, nuts and a healthy variety of cheese! Moreover, you’ll be treated to a fine wine selection. The restaurant will also be working towards its goal of plastic free and zero-waste, and their takeaway packaging will be 100% recyclable.
Alberto added: “London is where I took my first steps as a kitchen assistant at 18 years old, and as a brand it’s been our dream for a long time to bring the miscusi experience to the UK.
“Today, after having served over one million plates of pasta over the last four years, I’m happy to say that the Italians are coming to London!”
You’ll find Miscusi at 23 Slingsby Place, The Yards, Covent Garden in November!
