Now, I, for one, have never believed that croissants are only for breakfast. Indeed, if you stumbled across me on a trip to gay Paris, you’d likely find me with flecks of laminated pastry strewn across my cheeks at all hours of the day. But a brand new dining concept has just opened inside one of London’s most glamorous hotels that invites you to enjoy croissants for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. At La Croissanterie, sweet and savoury croissant creations will tempt you all through the day.
La Croissanterie is a brand new, first-of-its-kind opening at London’s Four Seasons Park Lane. Tucked away within the hotel’s Pavyllon Lounge, the new opening comes courtesy of Yannick Alléno, the world’s most Michelin-starred chef.
The French chef holds a whopping 18 Michelin stars across his 21 restaurants around the globe. Two of them (Yannick Alléno au Pavillon Ledoyen & Le 1947 à Cheval Blanc) even boast the top honour of 3 stars each.
And now, he’s turning his attention to the croissant, and elevating it into something truly spectacular.

On the menu at La Croissanterie
Well, as you may have guessed by now, it’s croissants… Quite a few different variations of croissants. But to simply call them ‘variations of croissants’ does a disservice to the exciting new flavour combinations. And these are no mere filled croissants or croissant sandwiches; these are croissants reimagined.
The savoury side of the menu features the likes of:
- Caesar Chicken – inspired by the iconic salad
- Arabic Lamb – with 36-hour confit lamb shoulder
- Asian Wagyu – with Sautéed Wagyu beef
- Scottish Lobster – with, you guessed it, Scottish lobster
And on the sweet side of things, options include:
- The Pavyllon Signature Croissant– the base pastry upon which the other dishes are built
- Almond Praliné
- Chocolate & Red Berries
- Vanilla And Strawberry Ice Cream
- Hazelnut Chocolate Ice Cream

It’s worth noting that these special croissant creations don’t come cheap. The Signature croissant itself costs £8, and the croissant menu starts at £14 a pop. But then, it is the Four Seasons, after all. And that is Wagyu on the croissant…
