A cyclist has spelled out a lovely, festive message with a recent cycle around London.
Cyclist Anthony Hoyte has been creating artwork with his cycling routes for quite some time; drawing many impressive portraits and festive images over the years. He uses the popular exercise app Strava to track his routes and create the images.
This year Hoyte decided to spread the Christmas cheer with a special ‘Merry Christmas’ message. The 126.51k journey took him just over 9 hours to complete, taking him to all corners of the city. He started in Islington, and cycled all over north London; up towards Holloway and across to Camden and Hampstead.
Making a start on the word ‘Christmas’ he returned south to the likes of Clerkenwell, Shoreditch and all the way to Limehouse, before heading west through areas like Holborn, Marylebone, Maida Vale and Paddington. He then made his way back to finish right where he began in Islington.
