It is exactly 2 weeks until Christmas, so if you haven’t started with the festive fun, it’s high time to get started. And the capital has no shortage of Christmassy activities to partake in. But nothing will ruin a carefully curated festive itinerary more than experiencing delays on the way to your chosen event. We’ve rounded up all the disruptions this weekend so you can stay one step ahead.
Northern line
- Friday 12 into Saturday 13 December: There is no Friday Night Tube service between Hampstead and Edgware from 01:30 until 02:45.
- Saturday 13 and Sunday 14 December: There is no service between Golders Green and Edgware, including during Saturday Night Tube.
London Overground
Weaver line
- Thursday 11 December: There is no service between Hackney Downs and Chingford after 22:45. This is due to Network Rail maintenance work.
Windrush line
- Sunday 14 December: There will be no service between Sydenham and Crystal Palace/West Croydon. You can use Southern Railway services or local bus routes. There is also no service between Wandsworth Road and Clapham Junction.
Elizabeth line
- Sunday 14 December: There is no service between Paddington and Ealing Broadway until 07:45 due to Network Rail maintenance work.
DLR
- Saturday 13 December: There is no service between Prince Regent and Beckton.
- Sunday 14 December: There will be no service between Canning Town and Beckton and no service between Tower Gateway and Shadwell.
