This London-based photographer has been capturing city life during the coronavirus lockdown.
Jimmy Brimmacombe, a 26-year-old from Bishop’s Stortford in Hertfordshire, has been taking eerie shots of the city while out on his daily walks. From empty streets and stations, to masked faces and supermarket queues, the capital has changed a lot since before the lockdown. These stunning images capture a new side to the city—a possible “new normal”— and yet somehow allow us to see it in a different, more peaceful light. Here are just a few of our favourite shots, from the bleak to the beautiful, but follow Jimmy on Instagram for more of his incredible photography.
