Ever wanted to see if the Michelin star restaurant were as good as they claimed to be? Well Galvin at Windows are clearly filled with confidence this August, as they are offering guests to try their ‘pay what you like’ menu. Meaning that there is no set price for the meal, but you can put as much or as little money as you feel is deserved.
On the menu, which is available from Monday to Friday 12pm – 2.30pm, 6pm to 6.30pm and 9pm to 10pm (subject to availability), you can try Suffolk pork belly, boudin noir, celeriac, peas & roasting jus and Aged Comté, chutney & raisin bread. Safe to say it certainly sounds Michelin-star. Guests must book the table only 48 hours in advance. The menu does run on a rolling mechanism, which means that it will continue to run as long as the guests pay enough for the restaurant to break even. So no taking the piss guys.
