This London hotel has found a create way to thank the NHS staff for all their efforts.

The Sea Containers London, a rather fancy hotel located on the South Bank, has come up with the most heartwarming gesture to show their appreciation to NHS workers. They have decided to send care packages to NHS workers all over the UK and our faith in humanity is officially restored.

While extremely thoughtful, this is not their first grand gesture. Last spring, Sea Containers London opened their doors to NHS staff, providing over six hundred individuals with free overnight stays at the hotel. Then in summer, they offered frontline workers the chance to win dinner, spa treatments and afternoon tea on the premises. And every Thursday since then, the hotel has been lighting up blue to show their gratitude towards those working tirelessly to fight the virus.
It turns out, they’ve managed to step their game up their even further this January. While hotel visits are currently off limits, they’ll be sending care packages directly to NHS staff in the UK. The care bundles will be “filled with lots of goodies to make one feel all warm, cosy and loved, from a blanket to cuddle up in, wine to savour and cocktail to sip”, and there are plenty to go around.
