Though they sure do take a while, the thrill of jumping on a long bus journey can be quite the kick, offering a cheap roadtrip across the country with beautiful scenery to take in.
Prices are known to rise quickly, mind, but this new summer bus route is offering a cost-effective trip to Glasgow from London, with rates starting at just £2.99.
Now, to be clear, it seems these seats have been very popular to say the least, and you won’t be getting up to Scotland at these rates by the end of August. But, despite the route being planned to run into September and October, seats have not yet been released, meaning you may just have a chance to grab your cheap seat for an autumn getaway this year. Plus, there’s still some great deals out there if you do fancy heading up to bonnie Scotland this summer.
Who do we have to thank for these prices? Coach operator Flixbus. They began this route on July 25 “to help consumers make the most of their summer while avoiding rail strikes and airport chaos”.
FlixBus UK Managing Director Andreas Schorling said: “While airports and airlines cancel flights, we’re adding even more journeys on our reliable, eco-friendly network to ensure everyone can enjoy staycations, day trips and visit loved ones this summer without breaking the bank.”
Keep your eyes on the FlixBus website or their app to snap up one of these bargain routes, which run between July and October this year.
