If you – like me and most other Londoners – could do with inhaling some actual fresh air for the first time in months; we’ve got you covered. Well, nearly. Nestled away in the depths of the Kent countryside is Little Budds Peony Farm. This picture-perfect peony paradise boasts a breathtaking display of over 6,000 peonies for just a few weeks each year. And guess what, folks? The time is almost here.
Open days at Little Budds Peony Farm
Peonies are pretty notorious for playing hard to get. Only in season for two or three weeks a year, these beautiful blooms come out to play at the end of May and beginning of June. The open days this year are between May 24 and June 15. You must book a ticket in order to visit, and you can do so here.

Visitors can expect to see over 50 different varieties of peonies, ranging in size, shape, scent and colour. From the classic blush pink to dark red, coral and even yellow; the farm is a little slice of colourful flower heaven. Although visitors are unable to pick their own peonies, there are plenty of pre-picked bunches for you to buy. Little Budds is completely free to visit, but booking is essential.
