You’re about to have your after-work plans covered for next week, because Art After Dark is coming back to the West End in February. The programme is set to run for one week only from February 3 to 10, packed with art, culture and music to celebrate London’s nightlife and cultural scene – and most of it is free.
There’s a lot to look forward to here, including exclusive art tours, as well as Rise and Shine artwork by Lakwena Mciver available to visit throughout the week, And late-night gallery openings at some of the best art museums in London, including the National Gallery, the National Portrait Gallery, and the Royal Academy of Arts, which will open until 9 pm.
On top of these art tours and events, you won’t want to miss the live music experiences across bars and clubs in the West End, with venues like Hard Rock Cafeé, The London Reign Showclub, BOX Piccadilly, as well as EllaMia, Portrait Restaurant, Masala Zone and Brumus Bar at Haymarket Hotel.
One of the most exciting events in the lineup is a one-off, after-hours DJ set by Bimini and Mia Lily at the National Gallery on February 5. It’s not every day you get the chance to have a late-night dance party with your besties in one of London’s most iconic art museums – and tickets are just £5.
