If you spent the majority of last year with Kylie’s new album on repeat, then we’ve got some excellent news for you! Kylie Minogue has officially been announced as one of the headliners for BST, the annual music festival that takes over Hyde Park every summer.
Following the release of her brand new album Tension, as well as a fabulous residency in Vegas, it’s finally time for London to get the chance to witness the Australian pop princess in all her post-viral glory.
The festival is famed for bringing some of the biggest acts in the world to the heart of the city, with previous headliners including Lana Del Rey, BLACKPINK, Bruce Springsteen, Pink, and beyond. And we’re so glad Kylie is returning not only to the U.K. (honourary Brit in her own right), but to the Hyde Park stage for this major milestone moment.
The 55-year-old superstar will be playing on Saturday 13 July, joining a spectacular line-up of artists for this year’s festival. You can also catch the likes of Andrea Bocelli, Robbie Williams, Shania Twain, plus so much more. So be sure to snag some tickets for your faves to avoid disappointment.
Kylie shared her excitement on social media, stating, “London Lovers… are you ready to PADAM with me this summer at @bsthydepark?!.. Can’t wait to see you on the 13th of July!!”
So, whether you’ve been PADAM-ing all year, or prefer the Kylie classics like Can’t Get You Out Of My Head and On A Night Like This, this is your chance to see the popstar on one of the biggest stages in London.
Tickets will go on sale at 10am on Wednesday 21st February, with several presales available including AMEX, the artist presale through Kylie, and the festival presale through BST Hyde Park. For more information on the festival, click here to visit their website.
