One of the most successful boy-band-member-turned-solo-artist acts of all time is coming back. None other than Justin Timberlake himself – who you might know from his NSYNC days, his solo career, or even from acting – is hitting the road this year and has announced some huge dates across the UK and Europe. Naturally, there’s a highlight summer gig taking place in London, too!
Timberlake is responsible for some of pop music’s biggest tracks, from the inescapable-at-the-time ‘SexyBack’ to the still-heard-in-shops ‘Cry Me A River’ and ‘What Goes Around… Comes Around’. And that’s without dipping into the NSYNC days, which gave us hits like ‘Bye Bye Bye’, ‘Tearin’ Up My Heart’, and the ever-enduring-memeability of ‘It’s Gonna Be Me’.
Now, he’s got a new album, Everything I Thought It Was, coming out next month (March 15). So naturally it’s time to head out on a globe-spanning tour. And what kind of tour would it be without a few UK dates? And we think he might even be hiding a few further dates up his sleeves…
The tour announcement comes in the wake of Timberlake having to cancel a surprise concert at the Roundhouse Theatre today (February 23). Timberlake was already in town for the concert but was unfortunately taken down by an illness and had to cancel on the day.
However, it’s not all bad news for fans of the artist, with his latest single, ‘Drown’, dropping today. Plus… he’s coming back!

Will there be more than one London date?
Now, we can only guess at this – but there are some pretty conspicuous gaps on either side of the London dates. There are three days ahead of it, following the Manchester date, and four days between the gigs in London and Amsterdam. So it’s looking fairly likely that more tour dates could be announced if ticket sales are strong!
