Head to paradise with Barrio’s brilliant Isla Bonita bottomless brunch.
The 80s gave us bad hairdos, John Hughes films, and the irrepressible pop career of Madonna – and speaking of Madge, one of her famous hits has inspired London’s hottest bottomless brunch. Taking the tropical-infused beats of La Isla Bonita as inspiration, and adding a heady cocktail of neon clothing and musical bingo, Barrio have unleashed their Isla Bonita bottomless brunch on their Shoreditch restaurant this summer, a truly memorable affair where the entertainment runs wild and free. You can find your tickets here!
As with any event inspired by The Queen of Pop, you can expect the Isla Bonita bottomless brunch to be an irrepressible celebration of 80s nostalgia, complete with lip syncs and a Vogue-off. A round of 80s Musical Bingo, hosted by Tequila Maria & DJ Limão, will add a little competitive spice to proceedings – particularly with Tequila Maria’s witty bingo calls, a host of fun prizes, and plenty of impromptu performances.
As you would at any tropical resort, you’ll dive into excellent food; the brunch includes a two course menu, consisting of a mouthwatering array of burgers (including their Saint and Sinner vegan burger), and Barrio’s excellent churros and chocolate dipping sauce. It’s a rather potent cocktail, and that’s before I even mention the bottomless dark rum riff on the classic Sangria (bottomless beer and prosecco are also available) that you’ll be enjoying here! Win-win, really – although perhaps the only downside is that it’ll have you dreaming of San Pedro for several weeks afterwards…
