Us Londoners really do get all the luck sometimes. Ahead of the premiere of House of the Dragon, a new-look Iron Throne will be landing in London for a few lucky visitors to perch atop. Okay, maybe not exactly atop, as the swords at the top might be a touch sharp. But, you know, on the seat bit.
The Iron Throne is touring the UK and beyond, visiting London, Cardiff, and Edinburgh, but dropping down in the Tower of London before the Game of Thrones prequel has even aired. Eager fans can visit the Iron Throne on August 8 or 9, in environs with a suitably bloody and vicious history. Some lucky few will even win tickets to the House of the Dragon premiere in Leicester Square on August 15.
If you want to visit the Iron Throne, you will need to apply. However, with ticket details yet to be released, we’ll all have to keep our eyes peeled on the internet to find out how! And yes, unfortunately that does mean only two days to grab your chance at sitting on the Iron Throne in the Tower of London. But fret not, as it will also be on show at the premiere in Leicester Square, and at White City from August 21-22. Time it right and you could visit the Iron Throne mere hours before watching the first episode of House of the Dragon.
But when does House of the Dragon actually hit our screens? The Game of Thrones prologue will start airing in the UK on August 22.
