1. Cala Vadella
Just a ten minute drive from San José, this charming beach is encased in pine-clad hills with everything you need for the ultimate family beach day. Secure your perfect sunbathing spot with a sunbed and a parasol, and grab essentials and snacks at the nearby shops and restaurants. The beach also offers loads of water-based activities such as pedalos, kayaks, boat trips and diving lessons for adventurous kids.
2. Cala Llonga
Cala Llonga is a sprawling suntrap beach just a ten minute drive from Santa Eulalia and Ibiza Town. Its shallow waters stretch far out into the bay, making it the perfect family-friendly spot. On the beach you’ll find everything from volleyball to a children’s play park. And the peaceful island of Formentera is reachable by ferry if you’re looking to do some bay-hopping!
3. Cala Codolar
Located on the west coast of the island, Cala Codolar is one of Ibiza’s more off the beaten track beaches. But despite its miniscule size, you’ll still find all the essentials. The crystal clear waters are perfect for snorkelling, so be sure to bring your gear with you! Or else, relax and enjoy the tranquillity with a cold drink from the bar.

1. Mercadillo de Sant Jordi
Every Saturday of the year since 1995, Mercadillo de Sant Jordi has taken place from 8am to 3pm at the Sant Jordi racetrack. This authentic bustling flea market is a great place to find anything from clothes and books to records, furniture and children’s toys. 2. Las Dalias
Dating even further back to 1954, Las Dalias market has played an instrumental role in Ibiza earning its hippy heritage. Also open every Saturday, you can spend hours browsing stall after stall brimming with beautiful handcrafted items. But the fun doesn’t stop at fabrics and jewellery – Las Dalias is also home to a wealth of bars, street food stalls, and live music events. 3. Mercadillo de San Juan
If you’re unable to make the Saturday markets, Mercadillo de San Juan is open every Sunday from 10.30am. At this eclectic market you’ll find everything from clothes and jewellery to home-made produce sold by the locals. The market is located in Sant Joan square, you’ll find great places to eat and drink in between shopping. 1. Santa Agnes
North of San Antonio you’ll find Santa Agnes, a quaint village rich with fertile fields bearing oranges, lemons and almonds.
