You’ll probably remember The House of Peroni from October’s London Cocktail Week, where Peroni took the spot as the sole beer brand to provide us with some delicious cocktails.
And now it’s back, setting up The House of Peroni once again and championing more talent in an immersive pop up.
The House of Peroni 2019 promises to be more stylish than ever by merging two of our favourite things: up-and-coming fashion designers and swish cocktails. It’s taking place after London Fashion Week and will showcase the inspirations of eight designers who’ve been empowered by Peroni Nastro Azzurro. Over the last seven months, they’ve received mentorship, workshops and talks from a Creative Council. They’re also about to show off their designs in a presentation during London Fashion Week. So you can expect to see distinctive rooms bringing to life the inspiration behind each of the designers’ collections.
A Sicilian-inspired space, multi-sensory areas and ‘modern baroque’ are just a few of the surprises in store when you visit the designers’ sections. Each has been inspired by their own surroundings, upbringing or imagination and there’s no limit on creativity.
The House of Peroni designers have been handpicked by some of the top names in fashion. These include Scottish fashion designer Jonathan Saunders, Isabella Burley, Editor-in-Chief of Dazed and Confused and Creative Consultant for fashion brands; Pandora Sykes, Londoner, fashion writer and stylist; Alexander Fury, Journalist and Editor of Another Magazine; and Anna Orsini, Strategic Consultant on the British Fashion Council, making up the Creative Council.
And keep an eye out for the names Hannah Wallace, Matthew Duffy, Joel Boyd, Kyle Lo Monaco, Daniel Crabtree, Pelin Isildak, Stacey Wall and Rose Danford-Phillips, because they’re the ones who’ve been picked to star in The House of Peroni’s Fashion Studio.
But The House of Peroni wouldn’t be complete without some Peroni-infused cocktails. While you’re there, sip on a selection of top-notch drinks, created by Manchester-based bartender Sam Taylor, from Science and Industry, and Peroni Nastro Azzurro’s Master of Mixology, Simone Caporale. Sam was one of the bartenders scouted from a nationwide search for the best up and coming bartending talent and is now being mentored by Simone to create this new menu.
If you’d like to get a closer look into the world of cocktail making, come along for a masterclass session, led by Peroni’s cocktail masters. You’ll get a behind-the-scenes look into the art of mixology by creating your own personal cocktail to be enjoyed. You can also choose between a Peroni Nastro Azzurro or the new Peroni Libera 0.0% throughout the session.
Wander over to the unique platform bar to try some exclusive Peroni Nastro Azzurro cocktails, inspired by each of the eight designers. And don’t think you’ll be going hungry – there’ll also be some authentic Italian pasta, courtesy of Pasta e Basta.
Guests will discover the Peroni-infused cocktail menu is as innovative as the designers’ collections, blending flavours and aromas evoking their individual inspirations. Each cocktail, named after each designer and perfected by Simone and his team of mixologists, is the perfect complement to the inspired surroundings of The House of Peroni.
