Harry Styles is doing it all this year. Sandwiched in between the small prospect of 12 Wembley Stadium shows, he’ll be headlining the annual Meltdown Festival… which he’s also curated the lineup for.
While we’ve already learned news of the bill he’s put together, we now have details for his own show at the Southbank Centre. He’ll take to the Royal Festival Hall stage, backed by a live orchestra no less, on Tuesday, June 16, with tickets allocated via a prize draw.
It’ll no doubt be an altogether different way of seeing Harry Styles live in comparison to the ‘Together, Together’ tour later in the same month. He’ll be backed by the Jules Buckley Orchestra, so expect to hear unique renditions of his tracks that won’t have been performed this way before.
How to enter the prize draw for Harry Styles tickets at Meltdown Festival
Due to demand being somewhat inevitable, these spots will be dished out at random for those who have entered the draw, which opened online today (May 6) and is live until Friday, May 15 at midday (UK time). You’ll also be able to enter via post, with entries for this needing to be received by 6pm on Tuesday, May 19.
If you enter the draw online (which you can here), you’ll be able to be able to put yourself down for up to three ballot entries. Each entry to the online ballot costs £20, so three ballot entries will mean a cost of £60, and each entry means a chance to win a pair of tickets.
All proceeds from the online prize draw will go towards the Southbank Centre’s work with young people, so you’ll be able to contribute to a good cause while being in with a chance to see Harry Styles backed by a live orchestra.
Alternatively, you can enter the draw via post for free, with hopefuls urged to mail their first name, surname, full address, and their email address, as well as any requests for wheelchair spaces, aisle seats, or level access. You must also use a first or second-class stamp and enter with a standard postcard or envelope. You can find the full address to send entries to here.
Those successful in the draw for tickets will be notified by Tuesday, June 2. The draw is limited to 950 pairs of tickets, with 1,900 seats to be allocated overall for the Harry Styles concert.
Speaking on the announcement, Harry Styles said: “Coming Up Roses was my first time working with Jules, he’s now helping us with the string arrangements for the Together, Together tour. He’s incredibly talented, and is such a generous collaborator. He’s become someone I love working with. It was obvious as soon as Southbank asked me to curate Meltdown, it was the perfect opportunity to do something really beautiful with him.”
