It’s been one hell of a month for property-buying Harry Potter fans in London, who have had the opportunity to purchase a slice of the Potter franchise pie. First, we saw the original Privet Drive, home to the Dursleys and Harry’s Cupboard Under the Stairs, go on sale. Now the North London home of Hermione Granger, her muggle parents and Crookshanks is up for grabs. And you don’t need to be a genius witch to figure out that the house doesn’t come cheap.
The six bedroom detached house is located in the lovely Hampstead Garden and is on the market for a hefty £2.4 million. We suggest taking a trip to Gringotts sharpish and begin the long-winded application for a magical loan (although we hear the interests rates are unfavourable to muggles). It’s the first time in 60 years that this family property, which was used as the ‘real life’ home of Hermione in the films, has been up for sale. We can only imagine the financial gains that the family are making after 60 years of rising London house prices!
