Hampton Court Palace Tulip Festival
The beloved floral festival will return to the former home of Henry VIII next month. The palace’s expert gardeners originally suspected that the tulips would come in to full bloom from April 11, but Mother Nature has had her say. The warm weather that London has recently experienced has meant that the flowers will bloom a tad earlier than expected and the Hampton Court Tulip Festival will now open its doors tomorrow (April 3).

Over 100,000 breathtakingly beautiful blooms will be scattered throughout the grounds. Visitors will have the chance to explore the 60 acres of gardens surrounding the palace, which are soon to b transformed into a picture-perfect paradise.
Dazzling displays of tulip and other springtime bulbs will be found in every corner of the grounds, showcasing the beauty, variety, and craftmanship of both historic and contemporary planting. There will be tulips spilling from the Tudor wine fountain and the vintage horse carts. And you’ll even find a floating display over at the Great Fountain.
Entry to the Tulip Festival is included in your entry ticket to Hampton Court Palace. So, don’t miss the chance to step through the big, shiny doors to discover the fascinating history that’s packed inside one of the UK’s most iconic palaces.
