When a skyline is as beautiful as London’s, a new addition to the many rooftop bars we can enjoy is always welcome. Because what better accompaniment to gazing out over the city is there than a cocktail in hand? We’re all ears.
Anyway, we better tell you about London’s newest addition to to the rooftop bar gang — it’s called Glasshouse, and it’s part of the NYX Hotel London Holborn, standing 10 stories up and 125 feet high.
Glasshouse will open up its spectacular central London view, sat on the corner of Southampton Row just four minutes from Holborn station, and arrives just in time for summer to pour its first drinks from June this year.
At the brand new bar, the interior may just be nearly as striking as the view out into the London skyline, setting the stage for spectacular panoramic views through their glass walls. For extra sun-kissed settings, the roof will even retract to compliment the background tunes. Plus, once the sun goes down the rooftop bar shapeshifts into a relaxed and premium spot to gaze over the big smoke.
There’s space for 100 standing guests and 46 seated, and there will be a range of curated menus, small Middle Eastern plates, and devilish cocktails to keep bellies full and the atmosphere tip-top.
Gasshouse will be open from 4pm each Wednesday to Sunday, and spaces can be booked via the NYX Hotel London’s website.
Find Glasshouse in June at: 50 – 60 Southampton Row, WC1B 4AR (nearest station is Holborn).
