With a skyline as beautiful as London’s, a new addition to the many rooftop bars we can enjoy is always welcome. Because what better accompaniment to gazing out over the city is there than a cocktail in hand? We’re all ears.
Anyway, we better tell you about London’s newest addition to to the rooftop bar gang — it’s called Glasshouse, and it’s part of the NYX Hotel London Holborn, situated 10 stories up and 125 feet high.
The Glasshouse rooftop bar is perched on the corner of Southampton Row. Dazzling views of the city are therefore a mere four minutes from Holborn station. The glass walls of the rooftop bar allow you to gaze out at the London skyline. And a retractable rooftop allows the vibes to shift between open-air evenings, or intimate nights. When the sun goes down, the bar becomes the ultimate relaxed and premium spot to gaze out over the big smoke.
But the interior may be just as striking as the views the Glasshouse rooftop bar offers up. Taking inspiration from the NYX Hotel’s own high-end blend of refinement and unique urban style, Glasshouse features bold décor and statement neon artwork. There’s something striking to catch your eye everywhere you turn.
There’s space for 100 standing guests and 46 seated, and a full range of creative drinks choices. They’ve given their cocktails the NYX treatment, so expect tasty twists on the classics we all know and lover. There’s the Bling Bellini, the Cherry Espresso Martini, and the Orb Fashioned, amongst many more. There’s also an outstanding selection of tequilas and mezcals, as well as plenty of beers, spirits and liqueurs, and wine.
Glasshouse is open from 4pm each week from Wednesday to Friday, and from 12pm Saturday and Sunday. The last booking available for each night is at 10pm.
