Camden is getting a very special Valentine’s display…
The Vagina Museum has been a hit since their grand opening last year, and to celebrate their first year in Camden, they’re buying themselves flowers (it’s Valentine’s/Galentine’s/Palentine’s Day, after all, they deserve them). Not just any old bunch of flowers, however. In an extremely on-trend move, they’ll be unveiling a vagina made out of roses for the duration of February 14th.
Made out of some 800 roses, the art installation has been created in collaboration with creative agency Aesop and apparel brand Modibodi, who create period and leak-proof underwear. It’s been set up to encourage conversations about the vagina, continuing the Vagina Museum’s noble work. Passersby are invited to pick a rose out of the vagina – never thought I’d write that sentence – and either give it to a friend or keep it for themselves. Happy Valentine’s Day, everyone!
